On the S-facing slope of Rathcroghan, NW of the concentric enclosure of Relig an Ri (RO022-057035-) and within settlement cluster (RO022-057092-). An area of c. 2.5 ha contains small fields (dims c. 30m x c. 20m) and at least six houses defined by low earthen banks (Wth c. 2-3m; H up to 0.5m) and shallow silted ditches (Wth c. 1m). A house site (ext. dims. c. 10m E-W; c. 5m N-S) defined by low earthen banks (Wth c. 1m) has an entrance at N and is incorporated into a field bank at W. House (RO022-057089-) is c. 45m to the NE and house (RO022-057091-) is c. 140m to the S. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
