What is recorded here
Situated on the outer edge of a shelf of the NE-facing slope of a SW-NE spur. Small earthen banks (Wth 1m; H 0.3m) divide the interior of circular moated site (WX040-011001-) into cells (dims. c. 10m x c. 5m) which are probably connected with tree-planting, but one against the platform bank at N (dims 10m E-W; 4.5m N-S) may be a house site.
