House

House, indeterminate date

What is recorded here

Situated on top of a prominent rise, in woodland, surrounded by pasture. In the NNW quadrant of ringfort (WM026-091----) adjoining the interior of the bank is a rectangular-shaped house site (dims. approx. 5.4m NE-SW; 3m NW-SE) defined by the fragmentary remains of an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.3m; H 0.35m). Its entrance is not recognisable, however a wide gap in the S corner may suggest a doorway. Compiled by Alison McQueen, Vera Rahilly and Caimin O’Brien. Date of upload: 04 November 2019

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
