What is recorded here
Terraced two-bay two-storey rendered property, built c. 1830. Pitched slate roof, clay ridge tiles, unpainted smooth-rendered chimneystack, cast-iron gutters on eaves corbel course. Painted smooth-rendered walling. Square-headed window openings, painted stone sills, painted six-over-six timber sash windows. Shopfront to ground floor with plain painted timber fascia, fixed display window, painted timber fluted pilasters. Street fronted.
This appears to be a relatively early building as evidenced by the shape of the chimneystack and sub-division of the sash windows and, for this reason, is of some importance.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
