House, 18th/19th century

Not included in the SMR (1989) but listed in the RMP (1995) and classified 'House Site'. Not shown on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. In pasture, built against a S-facing slope. The remains of a rectangular structure (6m N-S; 2.7m E-W) with sod-covered stone walls (T 1.4m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.75m) on the N, W and E side; the S side is open. There is a wide gap at the S end of the E wall (L 4.8m). A field boundary lies immediately to N. The house is likely to be post-1700 AD in date.
