What is recorded here

In a hollow between two ridges and c. 8m NE of a field system (SL040-21601-). A rectangular area (int. dims. 11m x 9m) enclosed by a ruinous sod-covered stone wall (T 1.9m; int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1m). The interior is level. There is a rectangular projection (int. dims. 2m x 5m) at the SE corner. A field boundary joins the E wall at the S end. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
