Excavated (E3478) during 2005 by L. Mckinstry as part of Site 13 at Moneylawn Lower, which was one of the excavations undertaken in advance of the construction of the N11 Arklow-Gorey link-road. Structure 1 is situated immediately outside the outer enclosure of concentric enclosure (WX011-060001-) at S. It is a concentration (dims. c. 10m x c. 9m) of post-holes, stake-holes, pits and hearths Two lines of post-holes (L c. 1.9m) at NE may indicate an entrance (Wth c. 2.2m) with a porch.
