What is recorded here
This is medieval house 8 which is located just W of medieval house 7. It consists of the poorly preserved remains of a N wall (L 0.9m) and a small stone-lined hearth situated 2.8m to the S with a small area of paving beside it. Habitation material was not connected with these features but it is at the same level as Man-made underground passage 4 and it is thought that they are contemporary, although the entrance to that Man-made underground passage is c. 7m to the N. (Eogan 2012, 126-7)
