Located to SW of centre in the interior of Ballygilgan rath (SL008-025001-). Oval area (dims. 7m NE-SW; 6m NW-SE) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.1m; H 0.3m). A break (Wth 1.6m) in the bank at NE marks the position of the original entrance.
