Terraced three-bay single-storey local authority house, built 1884, retaining original fenestration. Reroofed, c.1985. One of a terrace of thirteen. Pitched (shared) roof with replacement artificial slate, c.1985, clay ridge tiles, rendered (shared) chimney stack, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted roughcast walls. Square-headed window openings in shallow segmental-headed recesses with stone sills, and 1/1 margined timber sash windows. Square-headed door opening in shallow segmental-headed recess with glazed timber panelled door. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.

This house, built as one of a terrace of thirteen identical units, is an attractive small-scale building that retains its original form, together with important original salient features and materials. The house, together with the remainder of the terrace (22502232, 7/WD-5632-21-1252, 7), is of significance as an example of an early local authority housing project in the locality, and one which forms an attractive low-lying roofline in the streetscape of Doyle Street.
