Terraced five-bay three-storey former house with integral carriage arch, built c. 1830, now in use as hotel. Pitched natural slate roof with cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted lined-and-ruled nap rendered walls with moulded render quoins and having timber pilasters and entablature shopfront to ground floor. Aluminium windows with central pivot sections having painted stone sills and moulded render surrounds. Timber sliding sash windows to ground floor. Moulded render surround to elliptical carriageway.
