Detached single-bay two-storey house, built c.1800, now derelict. Remains of addition (east). Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Rubble stone walls. Square-headed openings with replacement two-over-two timber sliding sash windows and stone sills. Square-headed door opening.

Though now in poor condition, this building is a picturesque addition to the surrounding landscape. The compact scale and form is typical of the vernacular tradition, which maximised heat by keeping window openings to a minimum, maintaining a small footprint and providing accommodation in the roof space. While the substantial stacks and irregular openings are recognisable vernacular features, the gable entry is unusual.
