What is recorded here
Detached three-bay dormered single-storey house, built c. 1870, having projecting gabled west end bay and lean-to porch to front façade. Pitched slate roof with bands of red slates, false truss to west gable, and brick chimneystacks. Square-headed timber mullioned-and-transomed windows. Ornate cast-iron gates to vehicular amnd pedestrian entrances, having rendered quoins and set in rendered walls.
This small late nineteenth-century house displays decorative features typical of its era, such as the polychrome slatework. The retention of brick chimneystacks and the mullioned-and-transomed windows, adds interest to and enhance the building.
