What is recorded here

Excavated in 2001 prior to the insertion of a Bord Gáis Éireann gas pipeline (Excavation Licence 01E0572). A double-ringed round house with an outer wall slot (diam. 11.5m) and internal ring of roofing posts (diam. 8.6m) was uncovered. There was an entrance facing SW and a centrally placed hearth. The only finds were some pieces of struck flint however a number of sherds of coarse ware, of probable middle or late Bronze Age date were found just to the N of the house.
