Hospital in Waterford City

A Hospital of St John the Evangelist, possibly founded by King John in 1185 and united with the Benedictine priory at Bath in 1204. It housed both monks and nuns until the end of the 15th century at least, and was associated with the chapel of St Leonard in the Benedictine priory (WA009-005030-).
