Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Hosanger (possibly): North Sea as Craft (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The *Hosanger* was a Norwegian steamship that sank in the North Sea in 1917 after colliding with the British steamer *Dunrobin*. The wreck resulted in the loss of several crew members and part of its cargo; its remains are now a protected historic site.
