Hook Hill rises to approximately 100 metres and is part of the North Downs, a series of chalk hills running through southern England. Its prominence is modest, but it contributes to the regional landscape character and offers views typical of the Downs. The area has historical significance for its Iron Age and Roman archaeological remains.
