Woodtown Upper holds a holy well, a ritual site where clean water rose through earth to mark the boundary between the visible world and the unseen. People may have knelt at its edge, poured offerings into the dark, or drank from the stream during fever and fear. The well still belongs to the town, waiting for hands remember the old purpose and return the water to human life.
