Holy well in Dromdaleague, County Cork, Ireland: St. Sufran's Well in Drimoleague is now covered over. Local tradition may still remember it as a ritual water place, while the nearby surviving well keeps the older function visible. The missing chamber does not erase the well; it invites imagination about the people, prayers and days that shaped it.
