Doire Fhada Thiar holds a small spring beneath hawthorn bushes on the southwest slope above Loch Shéamaisín Uí Niaidh. Beside it lies a flat stone marked with tiny depressions that local memory shapes into footprints of a child, a lamb and other animals. The water may have served nearby people for cleansing, drinking or quiet prayer, while the marked stone gave that ordinary act a story worth returning to.

On SW slope of a valley running NW from Loch Shéamaisín Uí Niaidh. It consists of a small natural spring under some hawthorn bushes.
