Three-arch road bridge spanning An Abhainn Mhór [Owenmore River], built c.1820. Ashlar limestone construction with segmental arches and having ashlar voussoirs, pilasters, piers, string course above arches, pointed cutwaters and parapet. Dressed copings to parapets. Corbels at springing level to arch interiors for construction centering. Approach walls comprise irregularly coursed rubble stone construction with rectangular apertures to north-east side.

This road bridge displays skilled local craftsmanship, well executed stonework and attention to detail, obvious in the arches, voussoirs and string course. It is an essential communication and transport link in an area of difficult terrain and few roads, as well as an insight into early nineteenth-century bridge-building in rural Ireland.
