St. Fechins Holy Well is a natural spring with a circular drystone surround on the east bank of an Abhainn Mhór near Ballynahinch Lake. O'Flaherty noted the place in 1684, confirming that people still sought Fechín’s water long after the stone ring was set. The entrance faces south, inviting light into the dark throat of the earth while the lake outflow carries the prayer away.

On E bank of an Abhainn Mhór near its outflow from Ballynahinch Lake, and c. 70m N of a graveyard (GA036-039----). This well, correctly Tobar Feichín, was noted by O'Flaherty in 1684 (Hardiman 1846, 106). It is a natural spring with a circular drystone surround (D 1.5m) and an entrance at S. St. Fechín's Holy Well is associated with the 7th-century Irish monk and saint Fechín of Killeedy, known for his ascetic practices and healing miracles. The well was historically noted for its curative properties, particularly for eye ailments, and was a site of pilgrimage and ritual washing.
