Ballynamona holds a hidden well of St. Paul, now buried beneath ordinary soil but still marked by a bullaun stone on the same farm. Canon Courtenay Moore saw the beautiful spring in 1908, proving that the boundary of John Kent’s land once gave water to parish devotion. The earth swallowed the basin, yet the stone remains as a bruised knob of memory, waiting for rain or reverence to reveal what humanity chose to forget.
