In Magheraberry, County Antrim, a holy well, footprint stone and possible graveyard mark an uncertain seventeenth-century site where water, belief and death became entangled. The exact boundary remains unclear, but the combination suggests people visited the place to drink, touch or bury rather than merely pass beside it. Whatever life was lost there, the stones still hold the shape of human longing.
