Holy Well sits twenty metres southwest of a cashel on Duvillaun More Island, a small dry-stone pit halfburied under heather and boulders. It may have given water for prayer or warning, but in 2006 it held only darkness and the memory of rain. The isle keeps its own time, withholding even from cameras what it once gave to thirsty hands.

Located c. 20m SW of a cashel (MA033A003001), on a rough grass and heather covered S-facing slope, in the centre of Duvillaun More Island This holy well consists of a roughly circular pit (0.9m E-W; 0.7m N-S; D 1m) with a dry-stone lining. Linked to Saint Gobnait, the well is traditionally associated with cures for eye ailments and general healing. Local folklore suggests that the saint founded a convent on the island, and the well was used for ritual washing and prayer.
