What is recorded here

Holoman Bay features a sea cliff composed primarily of Lewisian gneiss, a metamorphic rock over 2.5 billion years old. These ancient rocks formed deep within the Earth's crust through high-pressure and high-temperature metamorphism and are notable for their durability and role in the geological foundation of the Scottish Highlands.
