Hillhall stood in Ballymullan after the medieval era, when human ingenuity and stubbornness met in clay and stone. It is no longer visible, but it is not empty. The ground still holds the shape of hands that built, broke, discarded and forgot. To stand there is to touch the absent room, not to invent it.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as Historic Settlement Hillhall. Recorded period: POST-MED. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
