What is recorded here
Single-arched stone bridge, built c.1800, with cut stone voussoirs. Semi-circular plan random coursed limestone wall with three square-headed sluice gate openings. Bridge carries traffic over mill race. Similar to road bridge to the south-west also bridging mill race.
This single-arch road bridge is well executed, exemplified by the cut stone voussoirs. The survival of the millrace acts as a physical reminder of the power sources employed to drive mills in the past.
