Half a kilometre from the main fort, a ghost circle waits on the hillside. It is so thin the soil has nearly forgotten it, yet the shape remains large enough to hold a whole village or a hundred years of argument. People may have stood there watching the east light touch the valley before they climbed to the stronger stones above. The land kept the boundary private, giving it back only when rain changed the colour of the field.

'Aerial photography indicates the presence of a crop mark enclosure on the east - north-east facing slope of the hill crowned by Glanbane hillfort (KE039-065----), approximately 50m from the outermost element of the hillfort. The site affords good views to the east and north-east and of the land rising up to the hillfort to the west - north-west. On the ground the extremely low undulation of an earthen bank can be detected for a short length on the south-western side of the site. The bank is extremely low, measuring approximately 9m in width, 0.25m high internally and externally. The remainder of the site is not visible on the ground only as a crop mark on aerial photography.
