A farmhouse erected by James O'Neill (----; Rowe and Sallan 2004, 539) representing an integral component of the domestic built heritage of south County Wexford with the architectural value of the composition, one repurposing two houses previously occupied by employees or tenants of the Kilmannock House estate, suggested by such attributes as the elongated rectilinear footprint centred on a polygonal dome-topped bridging breakfront; the feint battered silhouette; and the slight diminishing in scale of the openings on each floor producing a graduated visual impression. Having been well maintained, the elementary form and massing survive intact together with substantial quantities of the original or sympathetically replicated fabric, both to the exterior and to the interior, thus upholding the character or integrity of a farmhouse making a pleasing visual statement in a sylvan street scene.
