Higher Raven Scar is a sea cliff or coastal rock feature composed of Carboniferous limestone, formed around 340–320 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. It is notable for its exposure of sedimentary rock layers, which provide insight into ancient tropical sea conditions and may contain fossil remains of marine life.
