What is recorded here
High Loven Scar is a sea cliff composed of Carboniferous limestone, formed around 340 to 320 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. The cliff is notable for its exposure of durable limestone strata, which are typical of the region’s geological history and provide insight into ancient shallow tropical seas.
