High Hurth Edge is a sea cliff or coastal rock feature located in County Durham, formed from Carboniferous limestone, approximately 340 to 320 million years old. The cliff was shaped by marine erosion and tectonic activity, and is notable for its exposure of sedimentary rock layers that provide insight into the region's geological history.
