Hens Fort is a ruined ringfort in County Galway, marked by two broken banks and a shallow ditch. It sits in level grassland near the old Clonbrock estate, where modern traffic has cut holes through its outer edge. The site preserves no clear doorway or sturdy wall, but it still draws people because an unknown community shaped that land long before the estate appeared.
