Located on flat ground with good extensive views. In NE corner of graveyard (OF011-009002-), ruins of long rectangular church (OF011-009001-) built with roughly coursed limestone rubble. The graveyard contains some fine examples of late 17th-century headstones (OF011-009003/004-). Unlocated memorial in the graveyard that was recorded in the 1890s and described as a 'tombstone of Winwood Blundell, son of George Blundell of Edenderry, who died on 30 July 1680' (JAPMDI 3 1895-7, 488; Fitzpatrick and O'Brien 1998, 141-2) (Comerford 1883, 140; O' Flanagan 1933, vol. 1, 29-30)
