Haverfordwest Castle

Haverfordwest Castle was built by the de Briouze family in the late 12th or early 13th century and later held by the Crown following the revolt of 1265. It is important as a notable example of medieval military architecture and as a historical site linked to the suppression of the Barons' War in south-west Wales.
