What is recorded here
Haven Brow is a sea cliff composed primarily of Wealden Group sandstones and clays, formed during the Early Cretaceous period, around 140 to 130 million years ago. It is notable for its exposure of terrestrial sedimentary rocks that provide insight into ancient fluvial and coastal plain environments of the Weald Basin.
