Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Harray, Geroin as Cist (early Bronze Age), Cremation (early Bronze Age), Unidentified Object (copper Alloy)(early Bronze Age), Unidentified Pottery (pottery)(early Bronze Age). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Early Bronze Age cist tomb, likely used for cremation burials. Its finds suggest local funerary practices and metalworking traditions in northern Scotland during the second millennium BCE.
