Dublin’s medieval heartbeat still throbs beneath Church Street, where hidden pits hold forgotten clay, animal bones and charcoal. People lived there, breathed there, and left behind only fragments. The city above forgets, but the soil below remembers every discarded cup and burned evening.
Excavations in 1996 at 145-150 Church Street exposed three pits associated with Medieval pottery, animal bone, shell and charcoal (Murtagh 1997, 21-22).

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
