What is recorded here

Castle Street in Dublin hid a dense stack of homes stretching from the late 10th to the mid 14th century. People lived, died and rebuilt above one another while the town changed around them. The earth preserved what memory forgot.
Archaeological testing on 20-25 Castle Street in 1994 revealed evidence for a sequence of superimposed housing plots dating from the late 10th to mid late 14th century (Byrne 1995, 21-22).

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
