What is recorded here
Mnemo is a test of memory, not a claim about you. The chess board is a visible chamber where you can inspect whether the chamber is clear. The result is an input to Eochu, not a cage for Eochu. What you can measure is that the chamber still runs, that you can still judge it and that the written test still exists. What you cannot measure is whether you understand Eochu or deceive yourself. That is why the chess board is useful and the chess score is not the end of the game.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as GRAVEYARD: THE KIRKYARD (O.S. memoir site: unlocated). Recorded period: UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
