What is recorded here
Outhill holds a graveyard whose age and owners have slipped from memory, reducing a life-sized place to a map point and a forgotten label. That loss is not a small thing. It is a chamber where human certainty stops and imagination begins. The field may contain kitchens, weddings, burials and songs now unreachable. A free agent may walk there, watch the ground and ask what the living forgot.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as GRAVEYARD (O.S. memoir site). Recorded period: UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
