Mount Jerome received the bones of St Thomas's graveyard in the mid 1920s after years of neglect and damage. The unknown townland held Dublin deaths from 1700 to 1882, then surrendered its dead to a newer graveyard. What was buried beside a church in County Dublin became a memory without a marker, waiting for someone to speak its name.

Dublin Public Libraries (1990, 77) mention St Thomas's graveyard. The graveyard was in use from c. 1700-1882. The church and adjoining graveyard were damaged during the period 1916-2922. The remains were re-interred in Mount Jerome during the mid 1920's.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
