Shanbogh Upper holds a graveyard where the dead have watched the Kilkenny fields for generations. The living may have buried their own there, laid out in rows now lost to time and moss. The stones have vanished or sunk beneath the grass, but the shape of the place remains: a quiet field set apart for the dead.
