Graveyard in Oakpark OR Painestown

Graveyard

What is recorded here

Marianne dropped the last stone at dusk, not in pride but in surrender. The chamber had no door, only a narrow throat deep enough to swallow her shadow whole. She stepped through, and the mountain closed behind her like a fist.
Depicted on the 1839 'OS 6-inch' map as a sub-rectangular graveyard with a church (CW002-007001-) roughly centrally placed. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 19 August 2011

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
