Mullinahone holds a hidden graveyard behind Carrick Street where a chapel once stood and people may have laid their dead beneath the rough ground. The area is now overgrown, marked by a chain-link fence and conifers, yet it remains fallow instead of built upon. That quiet refusal to develop the land suggests the living still respect the unseen residents sleeping below the dumped debris and tumbled walls.

On the E side of Carrick Street, c. 45m behind the street front on a slight rise in an area of rough ground which is bounded by a concrete wall to the W, the tumbled remains of an old wall to the N and by conifers along the N, E and S boundary. The ground slopes to the W. The area is overgrown and has been used as a dumping ground. A chain-link fence has been built inside the line of the N wall. There is a hall-house (TS063-071001-) c. 30m to the NW. A chapel (TS063-071004-), which is not visible at ground level, was located in this area. There may have been a graveyard associated with this chapel and although no headstones or grave-markers are visible the area has been left fallow.
