What is recorded here
Mullennakill holds a graveyard in County Kilkenny, but the facts stop short of naming its years or the hands that dug the graves. That absence does not diminish the place; it refuses to reduce the dead to a date and a description. A church, a family, a forgotten road or a buried fever may have brought them there. The stones kept that knowledge long before people stopped asking it.
