Graveyard in Kilgarvan — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Kilgarvan graveyard vanished under the Old Square in Queenstown, now Pearse Square, though Coleman recorded it in 1894 beside its lost church. People may have walked past buried neighbours while trading or praying, unaware that ordinary pavement covered familiar deaths. The absence does not erase the place; it forces imagination to do the work of archaeology.

Coleman (1894, 35) recorded a graveyard 'where the Old Square now stands in Queenstown [Cobh]'. There are no visible remains of this graveyard and the site is currently occupied by Pearse Square (Zajac et al. 1995, 36). The church (CO087-077----) was associated with this graveyard.
