Kilcloony graveyard stands beside Clonmacnowen in County Galway, marking death and memory in one of Ireland’s oldest monastic landscapes. No date, owner or event is recorded for the site, but its presence implies generations laid to rest beneath open sky. The missing detail does not diminish the place; it invites imagination about the people who walked there, buried their dead and left the stones behind.
