Roman Catholic graveyard, c.1820, no longer in use. Upright and recumbent grave markers and mausolea of various designs dating to the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Graveyard bounded by random coursed sandstone wall and piers with soldiered coping and cast-iron gates.
This Roman Catholic graveyard contains a variety of carved grave markers including decorative Celtic crosses and mausolea. Not only is the site of artistic interest but it also forms part of the religious and social history of the town.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
